Affordable Broadband Services

Affordable Broadband Services

In the US, we utilize an FCC-issued Educational Broadband Service (EBS) license to provide affordable high-quality internet access to nonprofits, schools, libraries, and social welfare agencies via the T-Mobile network.

Discover the Benefits of Our Services

Money

We offer internet access at between 83% and 90% below the commercial value of comparable services.

Digital Equity 2

Contracts are tailored to your organization's needs — including both internet enabled devices and access.

High Five

You have the flexibility to add additional lines of service, and devices to go along, as your needs change.

Connection

Through our provider, you can manage every line of service in one place and on your schedule.

Devices

Our Bring Your Own Devices program allows you to use internet enabled,  T-Mobile network compatible, devices that you already own.

Our partnership with the 35 Mile Foundation makes it possible to offer reliable internet at a cost that better fits the needs of low-income households. Many of the subsidized housing communities we serve across Western Pennsylvania—both urban and rural—are home to working-class families who are already stretched thin by the rising costs of rent, food, and healthcare. For them, typical internet prices are simply out of reach. We’re proud to be part of a collaboration that is helping to ease this burden and improve digital access where it’s needed most.

How It Works

Step 1: Determine Your Needs and Eligibility

Your organization has its own needs, capabilities, and capacity. We get started by learning about you and determining if your organization falls within the areas of service we are able to provide. From there we discuss what you need and how we can be of service. Contracts are customized to fit each client.

Step 2: Determine Your Package

We typically offer lines of service paired with internet enabled devices including hotspots, tablets, and Chromebooks. If you already own T-Mobile compatible devices, we can structure a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) plan for you.

How It Works

Step 3: Determine Pricing
Like any service package, pricing varies based on several elements. To determine your pricing we consider the following:

  • Number of accounts (lines of service), both initially and ability to expand over time
  • Digital inclusion and equity mission alignment
  • Which internet enabled devices are included
  • Length of contract
  • The degree to which you administer your internal accounts
  • Your organization’s credit score

Step 4: Contract Finalization and Training
Once your contract is finalized and signed, we train you to use the platform provided by T-Mobile, the service provider. Through the platform you can activate/deactivate users, pull reports, and more while working at your own pace..
Continue to think of us as a resource. If you need to train new employees, want to expand, or would like a little help with features of the T-Mobile platform, we’re here to help.

Organizations We Serve

Nonprofits

We work with digital equity- and social justice-focused nonprofits to help them bring affordable internet services and mobile hotspots to the people they serve. Together we’re creating new pathways to the services and technology people need to step across the digital divide.

Schools

For students whose families find it difficult to afford internet access and the technology their children need, they often turn to the school. We offer low-cost mobile hotspots, tablets, and Chromebooks paired with affordable broadband services to schools. In turn, they offer them to the families of students, making it easier for them to access the internet.

Schools 2

Libraries

These institutions are subject to tight budgets that can prevent them from providing this valuable service. We offer affordable internet access that helps them keep their costs down — so that they can make internet access available to everyone in the communities they serve.

Social Welfare Agencies

Social welfare agencies provide assistance — such as health care, food, housing, and child care. Increasingly, the people who need this assistance are required to do so online. We offer these agencies affordable internet enabled devices and broadband services that they can then offer to the people they serve.
