With support from 35 Mile Foundation, the National Digital Inclusion Alliance has developed a listing of researchers who have published studies about broadband adoption and digital inclusion. NDIA and 35 Mile Foundation aim to foster a more cohesive network of digital equity researchers and strengthen ties between digital inclusion practitioners and aligned fields of study.
The National Digital Inclusion Alliance (NDIA) has announced a new Digital Equity Researcher Inventory, a listing of researchers who have published research about broadband adoption and digital inclusion, funded by 35 Mile Foundation.
Having data from research and researchers is key in helping digital inclusion practitioners, local leaders, policymakers, funders, and others make informed decisions and create sound programs and policies to enhance digital inclusion. NDIA aims to foster a more cohesive network of digital equity researchers and strengthen ties between digital inclusion practitioners and aligned fields of study with the inventory.
“35 Mile Foundation is proud to be able to support NDIA by funding the Digital Equity Researcher Inventory. Funding tools that help enhance policy decisions to end the digital divide aligns with our mission. Bringing together the people who need the data and the researchers who gathered the data, can help increase collaboration and diversify thoughts and practices, leading to more equitable solutions.” - Cassie Bair, VP of Broadband Services
